5 out of 5 stars Memories of a grandmother.   April 27, 2010
Beverly P. Nelson
My mother was born in 1902. She purchased a copy of the 1834 edition of "The Last Days of Pompeii" in 1914. My granddaughter read and loved the book when she was in high school. I found out that BBC had used the 1834 edition for a broadcast series. I hunted for a copy of the Broadcasts. I found one. A local (Santa Rosa. CA) video store changed the format from Btitish to USA. I gave the book and the 3 DVD's to my granddaughter for her 21st Birthday. She had tears in her eyes after watching the DVDs. She said "Now Grandma will be with me forever. I'll pass this on to my future children". She didn't even mind the German Cover on the original.

A wonderful experience.
